A Free Robotics Workshop was successfully conducted on 12 June 2025 at Viscount of Pernem High School in Pernem, North Goa. The Workshop was organized as part of an initiative to promote STEM Education among young learners. The workshop was attended by 18 enthusiastic students from the school.
Designed to introduce basic Robotics Concepts in an engaging and interactive manner, the hands-on session offered students a unique opportunity to build, explore and understand how Robots work. Through guided activities and team-based challenges, students learned foundational principles such as sensor integration, movement control, and basic programming logic in a relaxed and supportive environment.
The workshop emphasized not only technical learning but also soft skills such as Creativity, Collaboration, Problem-Solving, and Critical Thinking. Students were encouraged to ask questions, experiment freely and develop their own ideas, fostering a spirit of innovation and curiosity.
Such workshops serve as a valuable platform for early exposure to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), enabling students to discover their interests and potential in these fields. For parents and educators, it also provides insight into the possibilities of nurturing future-ready skills through experiential learning.
