Building Future Innovators with Hands-On Robotics Session at Paradise School, Parra

Paradise School in Parra, Bardez, hosted an exciting hands-on robotics workshop on 24 November 2025, aimed at introducing young learners to the world of STEM. The session brought together 60 enthusiastic students, all eager to explore the exiting field of robotics.

Paradise School is a leader in innovative international education in India, blending the flexibility of the Cambridge curriculum with SOLE (Self-Organised Learning Environments). Through SOLE, students work collaboratively to explore big, open-ended questions, building independent thinking and problem-solving skills far beyond traditional expectations. By moving away from outdated, industrial-age teaching methods and embracing natural, self-driven learning, the school nurtures confident, curious and future-ready learners prepared for an unpredictable world.

Designed with simple, guided activities, the workshop by Qurious Mind helped students understand core robotics concepts in a fun and interactive way. They built models, tested ideas and explored real robotic functions and movement control. The hands-on format encouraged students to learn by doing – making robotics feel accessible, engaging and completely beginner-friendly.

Beyond technical skills, the workshop also nurtured essential soft skills. Students collaborated in teams, solved small engineering challenges, asked questions freely, and expressed their creativity. This supportive environment helped them grow more confident while discovering the joy of experimentation.

Workshops like these offer valuable early exposure to STEM, helping children identify their interests and strengths in technology fields. They also give parents and educators a clear view of how practical, experience-based learning can build future-ready skills and inspire a lasting curiosity for innovation.
